Biography

Background:

Rob received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida with a major in History and a minor in Business Administration. Prior to attending the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, Rob enrolled in Rollins College where he spent his first two years studying at their campus in Winter Park. While at Rollins, he travelled to Oviedo, Spain and studied Spanish at the University of Oviedo in which he spent six months living and studying in the area.

He moved to the upper West Side of Manhattan and gained a taste of Wall Street as he worked with Deutsche Bank’s fixed income securities clearance group. During this period, Rob cleared trades involving bonds, bills, notes, strips and repurchase agreements (repos), as well as shadowed fixed income traders on Deutsche Bank’s trading floor located at 60 Wall St.

In 2008, Rob decided that his main drive was to create more personal relationships; thus he joined Elite Financial Partners in order to pursue these fundamental goals.
In 2010, he completed his Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) certification and holds licenses to work with insurance in Florida, Colorado, New York and New Jersey, and is licensed to work with investment funds in Florida.

Community:

Rob is a member of the Maitland Rotary Club and sits on their board of directors; he is also the incoming president for 2012 and sits on their art festival committee which holds the Annual Maitland Art Festival.

He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Habitat for Humanity of Winter Park/Maitland affiliate, and serves as the chair of their fundraising committee. He is in charge of their annual night golf tournament and silent auction, as well as other events throughout the year.

Rob recently joined the Cornell Contemporaries board, which is a young professional’s affiliate group of the Cornell Fine Arts Museum for professionals interested in learning more about art and the collection of art.
